Aural Fire is the blade by which the Aural Physician can perform surgery on their patients. It is a very powerful healing talent, though it works best in a quiet place with peace, as opposed to curing magics which work in the middle of battle. Used on a subject that the physician is intimately aware of (+rpinfo aural sight), the physician may remove curses, lingering foul magics, and all manner of diseases with a few hours of work. The physician may even, at 25 rating, rid the target of disfavorable flaws and Gaia's Wrath. The victim must be willing to spend 4 times the flaw point cost in JP or the attempt will be a waste of time. If a GW is being cured, and the GW is not equivalent to an existing Flaw, then the base cost is 20 JP for a Minor GW, 40 JP for a major GW. -- Used 'Blindly'(without aural sight examination), aural flames has a RATING X 3% chance of removing any given negative Status from the victim as well as curing disease. Particular virulent diseases, especially those that affect the soul or aura, may require precision work. In either event, health levels may be restored at a rate of 1 per 4/3/2 hours at 8/16/25 rating in this special. If Divine Healing is possessed at 15+, the healing time is halved. Used offensively, Aural Fire deals one health level of nonsoakable damage per action against Shades.
