Barbarian Guardian
From SCross
Not for NPCs, you know the drill.
Description: As they were in life, though they lack pulse, warmth, and breath. Such beings tend to be soft spoken and quiet, though are not lacking in any social graces they knew in life.
Adavantages:
Base Species: Gain all advantages/disadvantages of a single base Racial Archetype. Base Racial Archetype cannot be Rare, Very Rare, Nigh Unique, or Unique in rarity. Staff reserves the right to deny the use of any selected base Racial Archetype, should such be deemed necessary for any reason.
Black Resistance: Being undead, they enjoy a +100% resistance to black damage. Status effects of black nature tend to fail against them. Doom will restore them to full condition and hit points after 1d3 rounds of inactivity.
Immortal: Barring violent death or accident, they will persist until there is no world to exist in.
Not Alive: Cannot be poisoned or diseased. They do not require food or water and can exist underwater or in a vacuum.
Disadvantages:
Undead: Curing magics cause damage. Raise spells are considered a status for them. If not resisted, lose one condition for every 2 points of resistance missed, to a maximum of dying.
Willing Undead: Barbarian guardians took their position willingly, and enjoy immunity to undead controlling abilities, and do not register as inherently evil. They can also enter holy places unharmed, though holy magics will still cause problems.
Unaccepted: Imperials see barbarian undead as the result of blasphemous necromancy. The fact that their spirits don't appear tormented is of little consolation to the unbreachable law. Perhaps out here in the frontier the citizens will give a chance..
Rarity: Rare(Uncommon in Barbarian lands)
***Taking this Archetype requires the purchase of the 'Pure Blood, Special' merit.***
Homeland: The Western continent
