Bellatrix

Bellatrix is an Esper of Protection. She came to Highwind Point from the Esper Forests, for reasons of her own. The Mouse warrior has proven herself many times as a warrior, standing in defense of hte colony against monsters and undead. When she first arrived, she appeared as a normal animal kin; since then, while she has bought and been gifted with a steadily improving array of arms and armor, her body has slowly altered, transforming the Esper into a humanoid mouse made from a sort of semi-transparent gel. It hasn't impeded her ability to fight however, nor her ability to love; she is engaged to marry one Howard Baldeur, and the sooner the better to hear her tell it. Also, almost immediately after arriving in Highwind Point she agreed to serve House Skye as a guardian, a decision she has never regretted, as she believes them to be the most generous and good natured house in the colony. The only mar on her record is her involvement in the death of Lord George, of the Alair household; he was set upon by a small mob, and Bellatrix took part. The death penalty was commuted however, at the expense of her left hand. Since then, the young esper has matured into a powerful defensive fighter, and has fortified her sense of right and wrong. She has been elevated to the rank of Princess, as leader of the newly formed Northern Esper Enclave. In her new role, Bellatrix is determined to provide the best leadership that she can; she works to protect the espers, their friends and allies, and their territory in the ice caves, which she refers to as a 'sanctuary of life'. In other recent events, Bellatrix and her husband have produced a little girl. Born by cesarian section, the little Celeste is, in Bellatrix's eyes, the most beautiful little baby girl who ever lived.
