Blusa
From SCross
Blusa was the founder of the Mason's Guild, a male polar bear, a northern native of the Wound Clan. Hailing from the farthest north of the planet, he tended to find the climate around the town to be uncomfortably warm. He was a professional mason by trade, he spent most of his days quarrying heavily for good Granite, and then cutting the granite into Granite Bricks or Cement, and then from there, building them into useful structures.
His appearance was noteworthy for the permanent reddish-gray stain his hands have acquired from a lifetime of shaping brick and stone, and his shoulder-fur has likewise been stained and strained from carrying it around. He was close to seven feet tall, and heavily muscled from his daily labor.
He was noted for an unusual level of ambition for a northern native; and despite the innate naivety that comes with his native culture, he was also well-liked among his peers for his good-natured, honest way, and disliked by many above his station for his habit of speaking out against perceived injustices. As he was quick to point out, Imperial culture was not HIS culture; he was just here to build homes for people and make a home for himself.
Blusa was also an amateur geologist due to his need to find fine Granite veins; and it's hypothesized that were it not for his foundership of the Mason's Guild, he'd no doubt have become a member of the Science guild.
Blusa was the Minister of Building within the town Council.
---
Just after midnight, on Moon Day the 28th, on the summer month of Ramuh 1026AH, Blusa Woundclan was trapped in a mining accident during the sewer dig. A freak accident; a bad batch of gunpowder went off prematurely, and sent rocks falling down into one of the shafts. Blusa Woundclaw was dug out four hours later, asphyxiated, at the bottom of the muddy hole.
A solemn inspection of his personal effects was conducted, and amongst his tent and personal documents, his last living will and testament, about four months old, specified Tonya as the recipient of all of his personal effects, with notations that building materials would be redistributed to the city as the Council sees fit.
Ever humble, the only instructions for his burial were to be taken out into the tundra and buried under an unmarked cairn of stones, as befitted his northern way.
It was revealed by Imperial letter shortly thereafter, that Blusa Woundclan was granted post-mortem nobility, in recognition of his contributions to the Empire's interests.
