Deep Forest

The most central, most verdant point in the entirety of the Esper Forest, just as the Esper Forest is to the surrounding expanse of woodlands. Sometimes known to its residents as 'The Deep', the trees in this region are tall and old, even compared to those about the rest of the faerie home, and even those not versed in fae lore can usually recognise this place as being sacred. In the middle of the deep forest's largest clearing stands the Mana tree, tallest within the forest. The Deep is the closest place to Gaia within the forest, or, for that matter, for a great many miles surrounding.
Only those within the Court who are of Noble rank or higher may move freely about the deep forest, however a Commoner or well-regarded Retainer will normally be allowed to enter also, assuming they pay the proper respect not only to this sacred place, but also for the honour being done them in allowing. A visitor, again expected to pay proper obeisance, may also be allowed to enter if they ask nicely, are considered trustworthy, and are accompanied by a Noble, Warden, or better.
