Description: Short fellows with huge bushy berads and a love for hammers and good drinks. They tend to greet one another with a cry of 'Lali-Ho!'.
Advantages:
Legendary Craftsman: Dwarves have the power of creation in their veins. When they put their heart and soul into a project, they can create something entirely their own, legendary works that will last the ages. Creating such a work is quite difficulty, requiring 50 JP and several difficult to find ingredients(Natural Adamant being a popular choice).
Hammer Masters: Damage inflicted with a hammer of any kind is increased by 10%
Darkvision: Dwarves are at home in tunnels and underground. They can see in perfect darkness as well as a man could in dim lighting, and operate normally in dim lightning.
Love of the Forge: +20% Fire resistance
Stable: 50% chance of resisting a gaia's wrath.
Dwarven Belly: Dwarves begin play with 10 points of the special of the same name, this should not be a surprise.
Tinkerers: So long as the device remains possible for renaissance or earlier, they gain a -2 difficulty modifier on all heretical/engineering checks towards it.
Disadvantages:
Short: Dwarves move 25% slower than usual.
Earthen Affinity: When not in contact with the ground, dwarves feel a bit dizzy and nauseous. They suffer +2 difficulty to actions.
Non-Magical: Magic using dwarves are rare. -5 magery.
