Ice Caves

A known place to shelter, some twenty miles along the road north from Highwind Point, for some time, the Ice Caves have always been home to a few people though more often than not only a temporary one for wanderers under no formal rule. Recently, a hot spring was even discovered amongst their many caverns. However, the Espers and other fae in the region having not long ago come together to form a Court, the caves became home to, and later taken under, the sovereignty of the Northern Esper Enclave.
Due to this, although newcomers temporary or more permanently residing are still welcome, it should be remembered that the caves and a small amount of land surrounding are governed under fae law ( which is upheld by the Enclave's Wardens ). Visitors are well advised to obey these laws and be respectful of the residents and their culture ( both Native and Fae/Esper ), and keep in mind that they are bound by their respective aspects of the Mortal - Esper Pact.
Just recently, and alongside Kefka's takeover of Highwind Point, the entrance to the Esper Caves has rather suddenly disappeared, replaced with a small boulder that shows no interest in moving when pushed or pulled. Just like any of the many other bits of rock and debris stuck in the glacial cliff face.
