Keyz Ending! Complete with mandatory DBZ fight scene!

Archbishop Keyz Purelake-DeAmon, brought the Church in Capital City to new levels of influence and dignity, spending tireless hours undoing corruption in the ranks, but the deed that she would be epic for, was indeed her last as a mortal.
Having discovered the existence of a sword that consumed souls, she finally found the location of its opposite. Unfortunately, the sword she was seeking to destroy found this information as well, unknown to her. Traveling to a distant island named in obscure references, she sought out the sword, accompanied by her husband Celidar, and a famous historian, Pendant.
<DBZ> Upon finding it, she released the sword from the bonds that held it only to find that the holder of the evil sword, Russell, had entered behind her, and she was forced to wield magic and sword against him. After several long pauses where the camera closed up on everyone's face while they said things like "It can't be!" and "I've never seen that much power!", the battle raged on for many episodes. Too many. Painfully so. But in the aftermath, the temple was completely destroyed, as was a great deal of the island itself, and both swords had canceled each other out and become mutually null, neither a threat or a boon to the world. </DBZ>
And what of the warriors? Russell was not seen again, consumed by the hatred and wrath of his sword. Keyz was also not seen again, yet it was only the start of her tale, for the had accomplished the dream of many a Phoenix member. Upon her accomplishment and sacrifice to the protection of all souls, the Greater Spirit Phoenix himself recognized her as a lesser spirit of rebirth, and so she ascended from the mortal realm as many had before her.
Her husband Celidar, grievously injured, was taken back to the mainland by Pendant, where over time he was kept alive in his state of coma by his children, Kildea, Keegan, and Kite. Upon awakening, many years had passed, and the love of his life had disappeared. Determined to find her again, he acted upon rumors that a minor spirit of rebirth was manifesting itself on the northern continent near a newly forming outpost, and began the long journey on the small chance he might get to see her again.
