Nosferatu
From SCross
Archetype! You know the drill.
Desc: Horrible predators of the night. Nosferatu can paralyze with their menacing and lifeless stare, and act with precise strength and grace. They are a city dwelling monster, usually hiding in alleys and sewers.
Advantages:
Child of the Night: Start play with 25 Night-Affinity.
Hard to Kill: Any time the Nosferatu should lose a health level, roll stamina vs 19, even a single success prevents the loss. This ability only works once per action of the nosferatu, so if struck twice between actions for health level dropping damage, no protection is afforded on the second.
Undead: They are immune to black statuses and have +100% black resistance as well as the Undead Special..
Not Alive: Do not require air, food, or water, immune to disease and poison.
Charming: Though generally hideously ugly, they possess the predator's hypnotic gaze. +5 charisma to start, can raise to 30. May spend 3 MP per extra succ for any social roll to control, manipulate, or intimidate.
Blood Sucker: That's right they will suck your blood.. Gain the Special Drainer at 5.
Racial Limit: At 100/200/300 tp the Nosferatu's next attack (-whatever it is-) ill return 50/75/100% of the damage back to the nosferatu as hp.
Disadvantages:
Ugly as Sin: Any social roll to which the above bonus does not apply is at +3 difficulty. Aside that, you're just plain ugly. Usually bald, or with faint whisps of unkempt hair, veins bulging, teeth long and dangerous, skin a moon white. You are clearly unwell.
Undead: Curing spells cause damage, raise acts as a status condition, causing loss of one health level per 2 resistance missed.
Sunlight Sensitive: Sun causes burning itching. When participating in strenuous activity, like combat, aggravates it into a damage. The vampire will lose 20% of its current maximum in hit points at the end of each round.
Rarity: Rare Homeland: Cities
