A teacher hailing from the rural areas a ways away from New Junonsburg, Pendant came to the capital city seeking work. And, by virtue of the now deceased Lady Alindra's decree, he was for a time head master of the schoolhouse in the city’s Noble Market place. Here he found himself a very real place within the city, schooling its children and providing tuition in anything and everything to those who ask and he is able to instruct.
Originally of high common birth, his name prior to his marriage was Pendant Adelaide. Having entered into wedlock with Lady Torin of House Demious' adoptive daughter, Steff, he joined the ranks of nobility becoming Pendant Blackburn-Demious, and from there sought very little other than to live out life with his new wife and to continue to ensure education was provided to the city’s children.. aside from several small adventures involving necromancers, heresy, and shadow monsters of course.
Now, his particular, Demious, portion of House Blackburn having decided to move into the north to escape the cut-throat politics of the city, Pendant has followed along with his wife and their young daughter. Again however, he really seeks a simple family life, working to better the education of the colony and doing the little he is able for his house's position. .. Not that the little adventures of before aren't welcome to come knocking once in a while. One, in fact he has brought with him, rumours speaking of some goal he holds on behalf of a lost friend.

His natural inquisitiveness and rather strong sense of right and wrong often compels him towards nosiness however, and in this way he has become involved in many tense situations since his arrival in the city.
