Pisco Demon

Player archetype, not generally for NPC consumption.

Description: Largely human with a head that appears like a squid. See Mindflayer/Illithid of AD&D fame.

Advantages:

Mind Bender: Pisco Demons have a natural ability to weave mind magics. They may inflict the statuses of berserk, confuse, sad, hyper, or dark at will. Inflicting any such status is an action that may be directed at any one target in sight with the selected status. Victim must +resist/will and score better than the Pisco Demon's Arcana/Reserves+Willpower +check. This action costs no MP unless the pisco demon wishes to double his +check result, which costs 5 MP, and may be done after both rolls are done.

Telepathic: Pisco Demons have 25 points in Telepathy.

Hardy Mind: Pisco Demons may +resist/will twice whenever called to do so, taking the better result.

Disadvantages:

Water Loving: In a dry environment with no body of water, they are at +1 difficulty to actions. Access to a bath once a day is enough to keep this penalty at bay. Given the choice, most Pisco will submerse once every four hours.

Unsettling appearance: Their apperance is considered repugnant to the majority of the populace. This tends to make Pisco distant. All Pisco Demons suffer +2 difficulty to social rolls.

Rarity: Very Rare

Homeland: Imperial, Capital City in specific.
