Taoryu

The newest of the Greater Spirits, the name meaning, literally, 'dragon of balance' in the Wutaiin tongue. The dragon spirit's bailiwick is the maintenance of the balance between civilization and nature; ensuring that neither grow so powerful as to wipe out the other. Taoryu's notable hatred of technology and particularly firearms has earned it a slowly growing following among the barbarians of the west, and those who live more ferally and in tune with Gaia. Taoryu frequently asks menial tasks of his summoners a few times a year, always with the goal of environmental balance in mind (cleaning up a site, weeding a field, killing off some vermin-species from an area). Pacting tends to be easier for those who live ferally. He is found in The Weyr, the borderlands between The Dragon's Nest and Pangaea.

Spell

Taoryu - When called, an enormous red and gold dragon appears, firing a beam of pure energy from it's jaws to strike it's target(s). Those wielding guns or firearms suffer +50% extra damage before soak, and the beast will prefer to target these individuals, if given a choice.
