A polite nod of the head, or a threatening twitching tail, is usually the greeting you'll get from this particular skunktaur. Standing an impressive 6ft 8in tall and 8.5ft long, not counting his tail, he is rather impressively built for his species. Though, despite this fighter's physical appearance, he walks the path of the trader and craftsman by all accounts. Peacefully he words on projects for House Blackburn and any civic projects that are within his capabilities to do so. As for his past, he doesn't much go into it beyond the fact his parents were merchants and were slain during a failed robbery attempt on their store and that he originally hails from New Junonsburg.

However, while he was made to come here as the result of a lost bet on a chocobo race, he has not regretted coming to Highwind Point. Despite the recent troubles that he has witnessed or been involved in, he has grown greatly in his skills in crafting and he has found love. In fact several loves, as a marriage is now in the works to encompass himself, Murrimi, Jenaia, Sunstreak, and possibly one other. It finally turns out though, that it seems the one other is Leapri. They haven't been together for terribly long, but have grown close to the point of rarely seen apart. This has even developed into him adopting the kits of Leapri as his own. So for now, he continues to live on peacefully, do his work, and help others as he can, though it seems for the most part, life is proving fulfilling for him.

Tharsten Blackburn died in the very early morning of the Thursday, 1st day of the fall month Chocobo in the year 1027 AH. His body detonated, leaving no remains, and a rather large glassy crater. Known only to a very few, he was slain by Faruza and Rosabella, executing a discreet death warrant. To all but those very few, most are not even aware he's dead, nor how or why.
